I love to cook and share recipes with my friends and family, so I thought I’d create a blog to talk about this topic which I love so much! I am just an at-home cook with no training besides what mom and experience has provided…lots left to learn!

I’m a pretty thrifty person so I’m always looking for ways to save money without sacrificing taste….that would NOT be good.

In addition, I am trying to eat more figure and heart friendly so I’m experimenting with some new ingredients.  My family and friends seem to have a lot diet restrictions these days so I really need to make an effort to find recipes that work for them…. not had a lot of luck so far changing my ways but I’m working on it!

I want to find/make up recipes for the following diet types:

  • Heart Health – low sodium low fat, low calorie
  • Krone’s Disease – I don’t know what…need to research
  • Diabetics

So, I welcome any suggestions, tips, or reviews.
